What stretch tent size is best suited for my event?
This is without doubt one of the most asked questions we get in an enquiry.
The good news is that our team of experts will, in most scenarios, be able to help you figure this out very quickly with just a few questions.
The key criteria to deciding what stretch tent size best suits the application is:
- Type of event
- Number of people
- Location
If the installation is for a private function at a residence, for example, this will usually require a small to medium stretch tent size ranging from a 6×9 which caters for approximately 30-35 people to a 12×15 which is suitable up to 100 people.
Corporate functions traditionally require something slightly larger ranging from the 12×15 up to the 18×24 sizes.
For large public events and festivals, we often use the 18×24 and 20×30 tents.
Modular Design
All Dimensions Stretch tents are modular in design.
This means we can join an almost unlimited number of tents together to create one massive coverage space.
It also means that as a tent rental business or event company looking to invest in our products, every tent purchased broadens the market that these can be used in.
Investing in 3 or 4 small to medium size tents means being able to cater for both single-use, small setups as well as larger applications by joining several of these together.
This massive Music and Arts Festival in Portugal required us to join 11 of our biggest tents together to cover a floor space of 3,200 square metres using our modular design. (pictured below)
Stretch tent size guide
Dimensions stretch tents are both modular and highly flexible.
To date we have not yet encountered an installation we could not complete due to the location.
We can even set up in a parking lot with hard tarmac if required.
When calculating how much floor space you need, also consider how many sides of the tent will be closed or open. Each closed side uses approximately 1,5m of floor space.
